Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 2007

The workshops will be produced mostly in the neighborhood of Villa 31 – Retiro, in collaboration with the foundation Musica Esperanza, created in 1982 in Paris, by the pianist Miguel Angel Estrella.

 

Recent projects :

Cordoba, Argentina 2006

Living in Unquillo, near Cordoba, Argentina,  Matias Juarez and Noémie Godin-Vigneau proposed the workshop to various people who are socially involved,  such as Lisi Brugo (Esc. J.B. Alberdi), Vicky Piscitelli (Nuevo Puente), Maria Corra (Agua Ardiente), Martin Gomez (Rosas y Espinas) Blanca, and Rosa y el Padre Aguilera (Casa de Ninos).

 The workshop was conceived with four different associations:

Huanchaco, Peru 2006

Produced in collaboration with the NGO Mundo de Ninos (www.mundodeninos.org), the workshop was intended for street kids in rehabilitation at the Mundo de Ninos House.

Villa El Salvador, Lima, Peru 2006

This workshop was produced in partnership with Casa Infantil Juventud de Arte y Cultura (C.I.J.A.C.) (www.cijac.com), and their numerous collaborators: Miguel Almeyda, Josselyn Alvarado, Rafael Virhuez, Graciela Flor de Maria, Jacqueline Guerrero, Emili Asmat Villa and Ronal Vela. It was given to children aged 8 to 15 as part of the activity Veranearte (www.miguelalmeyda.com/veranearte.html).

Habana, Cuba 2005

This is the first workshop proposed by Josselyn Alavarado and produced by Levy Bourbonnais in collaboration with Cuban partners La_FabriK and the Amadeo Roldán conservatory.
